Wedding Invitation

Thought I would share the latest creation in Adobe Photoshop. They wanted oval fun photos on their announcement. I really like the black and white background. She had them printed as a 5x7 postcard. They turned out great. The website was very reasonable, http://www.nextdayflyers.com . If you are looking to have something printed I would recommend you check them out.

Granddaughters' Photo

Above this the before picture of my granddaughters showing me the back of their Easter dresses. Below are a couple of changes: cropped, tilted, and color change. I only have Adobe Photoshop CS2, but I love the program.
I think I'll frame the sepia one. They look like they are praying. What do you think?

Loving Tribute to Grandma

She always had the time for you
She knew what cards you hold
If you chanced to shop with her
Opinions were quite bold
You always knew she loved you
Just the way you are
Knew an education would
Take you very far
In generations she'll live on
through memories we shared
I hope and pray you know her love
And that she really cared.  ~Dixie

I used Adobe Photoshop to combine her two pictures with the picture of her great-great granddaughter for her memorial program.  I think she would like it. She is loved and missed by all.

Photo Edit

I saw several blogs with before and after pictures. They also had some Adobe Photoshop techniques I had not used before. I can't give credit to just one site, because I used tips from several and only took notes. I can credit the frame to Pam LeFors Designs

It's Spring break can you tell...two posts in one day.

100th Birthday

This was truly a labor of love. I worked up several ideas for the invitations. Some were too cutesy and some to gussied up. In the end, I went with something that shows the simple elegance of this wonderful classy lady,  my Grandmother.  It was a challenge restoring the photos. The elements corners is from Pam LaFor Designs.

Repair Photo

I received a email with the following photo of my DGM who is having her 100th birthday this month. As you can see, the photo was is sad shape. Thanks to Adobe Photoshop, I was able to do a pretty fair job of repairing the photo. Even the torn section, looks pretty good.
I am working on invitations for her birthday party. Guess you know what I'll be working on all day.   I'll try and post them on Monday.
