Purse ATC

I don't know why I never posted this trading card. I guess because It seemed a little to plan. It has been sitting in my drafts for two years now. Thought I would post instead of trashing it.

Cupcake Card

Well it has been a while since I have had time to craft. I miss how much it relaxes me. I have quite a few birthdays this month. I did several version of the above card. This is the first version so it had a few flaws.
When I cut the Happy Birthday with my Craft Robo, I used inside lettering for the other card. Love getting two projects from one cut.
Sorry the inside is so blurry; I did not see the blur until I upload the picture. Of course the card was long gone by then. I used The Glitter Stack paper by DCWV and held the bottom flap closed with two glitter brads. The blank side of the tag hold my sentiment.
I had this idea for a reverse flap to write on for the inside of the other card. I still don't like how it turned out for cutting and folding. I'll have to work on that template some more. Sewing the flap closed was a boo boo, But with added sequined flowers, it turned a mistake into an okay project.
Couple of things about this project. Do not mix the sides of the template or you will have to trim. (see the picture above). Here are the PDF template and the GSD template. Please remember they are not for resale.

Wedding Shower

This card and envelope were made for a wedding shower. I designed this card with my Craft Robo. I used white card stock for the first cut and the silhouette couple was cut from black card stock. Fisker punch for the trim on the front of card and inside for a finishing touch. I was in a hurry and did not design an edge. I printed a scatter of hearts on the front corner of the envelope. I hope Lisa liked the card.
It bugs me about the trim. I will share the GSD file in the future when I fix the border.

Paisley Elements

When you do not get any feedback, you never know if anyone out there likes what you are doing. I hope some one like this file. It is not glued together yet, because I am not sure how I am going to use them.

For a challenge on the UK Scrappers, I created the paisley file with my Craft Robo. You can download the GSD file.

Noverber Challenge Card

I signed up to come up with an idea for a November Challenge on UK Scrappers site. I challenged everyone to use the welding and matting functions in the Robo Master program or in Inkscape. Here is one the mats I created.

Hint: I ran the cut swirl mat through my Xyron and sprinkled Martha Stewart glitter. It worked great. I also used graphic from pccrafter for the center quote.

I tried making the homemade snow and used it on the other mat I designed. Sorry no picture. I did not like the way the snow turned out. It was a little to lumpy for my liking. I will have to work on a new method for making snow. If...no when I come up with something I like, I'll let you know.

Corvette Birthday Card

Here is a birthday card I made for my niece to give to her boyfriend. He loves corvettes. The paper I mounted the picture on is "Once Upon A Time". I used velvet ribbon and rhinestones for embellishments. I cut the Happy Birthday with my Craft Robo. The hardest part was finding a picture she liked.

Graduation Box

Here is a small graduation box made with my Craft Robo. The tassel is attached to the hat at the top with a small brad. It is 1 1/2" by 2 1/2". Just right for a graduation 2009 key chain. I am still trying to get the hang of changing RM 5.1 into DXF  and other compatible files. But for those who can use a GSD file, Here is the file.  Because I hate to waste paper, there are two boxes on one 8.5 x 11 sheet.

The box pictured was cut with a light weight card stock about 32 lb. Only because at the time I could not find heavier card stock in black. Be sure to slow down your machine because it has some very delicate cuts. I used a small white scrap square to back the inside of the graphic area. You could use clear transparency.

Love you This Much

Last minute card for my children. The cute graphics are  from Contemporary Christmas found on pccrafter.com. I cute the snowflake with my Craft Robo, embellished with a rhinestone, and mounted it with dimensional dots. The photo is an eyeball bender. If you focus on the cutout part of the flake it looks cut out of the card instead of mounted with raised dots.

Bag in a Box

I love the bags made by Andrea but I could not wait to make my own version. Although the lighting was not the best for glitter foil paper, I couldn't wait to make this santa bag in a box. The belt is an 11" x 3/4" light weight paper threaded through a slotted silver brad. I hot glued on the buttons so I did not have to cut off the backs.
This version is thanks to Laurie Furnell. I adapted her snowman wrapper graphic into a wrap for my bag in a box. Snow glitter was added by brushing on clear glue. Curly yarn for the scarf and top knot. I have inclued the PDF and GSD files; and my alterations for the tab are also inclued.

Purse Bag

This cute bag is perfect for all occasions. Seen here for a birthday, fall thank you, and Christmas. The Christmas purse was cute twice, then trim the inside layer by an 1/8" on the bottom and side. The templates will be posted on Monday. I'm still trying to perfect a couple of things.

Christmas Star

Just sharing this star with those of you who can use the GSD template file. I must warn you I have updated to RM 4.4, but I am working on getting back a copy of the older version. I would appreciate some feedback on the type of files everyone is using.

Interlocking Card

Have you ever finished a fun project and forgot to take a picture? This card was designed for friendship week for Andrea. I did not take a picture, but after several months of international wandering was returned. It took a lot to get the interlocking and folds just right. So to save you the head ache, I am including a PDF file. The cute kite flying duck is from Laurie Furnell's Just Ducky Collection. Graphics for the card below are from Cowgirl Up by Tina Ledbetter. Both can be purchased at pccrafter.com.
Here is the GSD file for those of you with a Craft Robo, Wishblade, or other. This card fits in a business size envelope.

Here's a seed packet filled with candy corn. The graphics can be found on pccrafter.com. The stitching graphics by Stephanie Spice.

The poem on the back is thanks to Nancy Kochsmeier. Printed several copies on a separate sheet and cut these and cut by hand. Here is the GDS template for the seed packet. This is an older file so I think everyone can use it. Here is a png for those of you how cut by hand.

Autumn Card

I must confess, I did not finish the project that I wanted to post. It will have to wait for a future date. I am posting a card that I finished a week ago. Graphics are by one of my favorite artists,Laurie Furnell at pccrafter.com. The leafy lattice background is one of my GSD file creations. I have not figured out how to share with the new update RM 4.4. If you would like it anyway, let me know.

Bottled Mail From USA

Add an extra surprise to a postal package by bottling your contents. I picked up a few things to send a package to a friends son in Iraq. I turned the Pringles into a cowboy hat, made a tic-tac-toe board, added my own packaging to the rest with the help of graphics from pccrafter.com. I used a GSD template for the covers of the mini Warm Delights. Here's my results:
My eyes were bigger thank my package. I will just have to put together another package in a couple of weeks and send the left overs. he he he

Faux Chipboard

Photobucket

I love the look of chipboard. Unfortunately I can not cut chipboard with my model of Craft Robo. Here is how I created my Faux Chipboard:
Photobucket
1. cut 4 blank templates on heavy cardstock (I used 110 lb.)
2. glue the 4 templates together (I use wet glue the first time. It curled slightly and took a long time to dry)
3. cut top layer with words out of light weight patterned paper
4. glue to the top of the cardstock
Photobucket
Here is the GSD template for my Faux chipboard. This template will give you two different options.

Cuttlebug Embellished Bag

Here is the template for the magic window cover png/jpg. I feel sorry for you, if you have to cut this by hand. I love my Craft Robo…it is worth every penny I spent. When I registered my CR, there was a cute bag template for download. This of course is altered a little and I used background graphic from pccrafter.com. I posted a picture of the bag for you to see, since you have seen enough of the magic card. Happy crafting..see you Saturday with a new project.
