Baby Pram ATC

These artist trading cards were made using my Gazelle. I cut the same pattern out of six sheets and mix and matched them for this creation. I have not made it into a GSD yet. But I did share the WPC file for free with the Bosskuts forum.

Pioneer Bonnets

I was asked to sew 11 bonnets that were cut out and ready to go. I had no instructions, not all the parts, and definitely not enough material. So I got creative and patched two together out of the scraps. How's that for fitting the pioneer theme?
I was told to use pop bottles for the visor. They were awful. Thank goodness for Walmart. I pick up plastic placemats for $1 and cut two visors. It worked great. I could not find any help on the web, so I put together some I learned through this process. I did not realize the picture was so blurry until after they were gone.
Here is a PDF with tips and more pictures to help you if you decide to take on a bonnet project.

Tote Bag

Inspired by the gift I received in May from Annie, I created my own version. I made covers for Tic Tac, stress lotion, emergency repair kit, and post-it note. The paper was double sided K & Company, Sea Grass designer paper.

Wedding Invitation

Thought I would share the latest creation in Adobe Photoshop. They wanted oval fun photos on their announcement. I really like the black and white background. She had them printed as a 5x7 postcard. They turned out great. The website was very reasonable, . If you are looking to have something printed I would recommend you check them out.

Granddaughters' Photo

Above this the before picture of my granddaughters showing me the back of their Easter dresses. Below are a couple of changes: cropped, tilted, and color change. I only have Adobe Photoshop CS2, but I love the program.
I think I'll frame the sepia one. They look like they are praying. What do you think?

Blank Card

With the help of a Cuttlebug embossing folder, this card went together fast. I printed the check pattern on the bottom section of a quarter card size area; attached the ribbon, pearls and saying. The inside is blank but has a blue and white layer of 24 lb paper to set off the writing area.

This card was for Suntalee's very special day of going to the temple. She looked so beautiful and happy.

School Thank You

This thank you card was easier than I thought to put together. I used a 6"x 12" sheet folded on the 2", 4", 8", & 10". From the edges it is cut 1 1/2" between the 2" and 10" fold. Graphics used for this card are by Teresa Kogut when she was designing for Her sets have been discontinued. Cardstock is from DCWV paper.

The edges of the base is chalked on all folds to give it an aged feeling. Letter rub-on transfers for a chalkboard look. I also put more transfers on the corner of the envelope.

Wedding Shower

This card and envelope were made for a wedding shower. I designed this card with my Craft Robo. I used white card stock for the first cut and the silhouette couple was cut from black card stock. Fisker punch for the trim on the front of card and inside for a finishing touch. I was in a hurry and did not design an edge. I printed a scatter of hearts on the front corner of the envelope. I hope Lisa liked the card.
It bugs me about the trim. I will share the GSD file in the future when I fix the border.

Sham Apron

Here is an apron I put together out of a quilted pillow sham for Mother's day. I sure hope my Mom likes it. I think it turned out pretty cute.
I picked up the quilted sham on sale at a quilt shop between Salt Lake and Provo.
I trimmed around the edge as close as possible. Then cut strips on the bias of the material for the strap, ties and part of the pocket. The trim pieces from the corners on the top of the apron were used to make the pocket. I picked up metal strap piece at Walmart for .$.75.
There was very little left over.

Paisley Elements

When you do not get any feedback, you never know if anyone out there likes what you are doing. I hope some one like this file. It is not glued together yet, because I am not sure how I am going to use them.

For a challenge on the UK Scrappers, I created the paisley file with my Craft Robo. You can download the GSD file.

A Zion Family

Too often we don't look for peace and tranquility in the things that surround us. If you look close enough you can find Heaven in the everyday things. But if we don't see the blessing and only see the stuff, we will have a hard time finding happiness. This was the topic a couple of Sunday's ago. It stuck with me and inspired this little ditty that I turned into a card.

Look for Heaven in all you see

Joy and Happiness is for free

But if you only see the “Stuff”

It will never be enough.

Jungle Theme Baby Shower

This is my word book. It is a card for a baby shower tomorrow. I designed the colored background paper and it is included in the GSD file. The "Born to be Wild" graphics by Shelly Comisky can be found at
I used my Cuttlebug to emboss each page. It dressed up the back side enough to leave them plain.
Each photo spot is raised with a pop dot. Since this is going to be given at the baby shower ultra-sound pictures will be placed on each page.
I punched holes with my Big Bite and tied ribbon on the rings after I assembled the album.Maybe I'll make another one for a girl. Here are the GSD file which includes that blue background paper: B ; A ; B ; Y For those of you without a Craft Robo I am working on a PDF file.

Quick Valentine Treat

Using the graphics from Simply Spring by Shelby Comiskey at, this box of Valentines were done in less than an hour. By putting "To My Friend", she can just hand them out. Or there is room on the inside for a personal message.

Valentine Card

I really liked this saying from Laurie Furnell's new graphic collection. I threaded ribbon around a cut out heart and used pop dots for dimension. Graphics can be found on
