Paper Wallet

One of our students won state competition and is headed to nationals in Tennessee. This paper wallet holds a twenty dollar bill for her to spend on her trip, a tag to attach to her suitcase for easy sighting, and good luck sentiments.
I used specialty paper from K&C's Happy Trails. Stickers are semi-transparent with a bit of glitter. Magnet clasp was attached with two strips of card stock threaded through the opening and glued together. I tried my hand at top stitching for an accent on the outside. Sorry the bottom picture is a little blurred. The wallet was delivered, before I had a look at the photos. Of course I cut all of this out with my Gazelle. I think the file still need a pit of tweaking before I share. But I am pleased with the results.

Here is my take on the Graduation Gift Card Holder by Alicia Coulombe from Splitcoast Stampers for the Gazelle. I made glue flaps and inside covers. All is cut with my Gazelle by Bosskuts.

Origami Flower

My granddaughter and I saw this youtube instruction for a $3 flower. Here is the link and pdf. The post is half way down the page. I suggest that you make it out of plain paper first. It is easier to fold. But you don't get a crisp center to your flower unless you use dollars.

Fun Birthday Card

I am working on a freebie for next week. For today, here is a fun little birthday card I made using two creatables from pccrafter.com. "Hen House" by Carolee Jones and "Star Spangled Summer 2" by Laurie Furnell.
